It is impossible to answer this question in the abstract, since the cost of legal services truly depend on the specifics of each case.  Immigration+ Solutions starts almost every attorney-client relationship with an initial case assessment.  The fee for that initial meeting (or telephone conference, videoconference, or e-mail exchange) is $225.00.  At that meeting, we gather as much information as possible, determine available options, discuss timelines, and address the total legal fees, filing fees, and case-related costs.

Unlike many law firms, we work whenever possible on a flat fee basis.  All fees are explained up front, and every Fee Agreement clearly states what work is and is not covered.  We expect payment in advance, so that once fees are settled, clients need not worry about unexpected bills, and we may focus on what we do best: being lawyers (not bill collectors).  We encourage clients to be actively involved in their cases, and the flat fee approach ensures that clients never hesitate to contact us if they have questions or need clarification.  Flat fees also help clients feel comfortable knowing that we’re doing whatever needs to be done on their cases.

Actual fees range from nothing beyond the initial case assessment fee of $225.00 to a few hundred dollars for a simple one-time application, to much more for complex removal/deportation defense cases involving multiple stages. Most of the cases we handle likely end costing our clients somewhere between $2500 and $4500 in legal fees, not including filing fees and other expenses.

So, while we can’t tell you right here and now how much your case will cost, we can promise that as soon as we have enough information, we’ll explain all fees clearly and thoroughly before any additional money changes hands.
